It’s About Time!

This image was one of my favorites from last summer! I had to share it – the vertical composition, gorgeous colors and great smiles combined for a perfect portrait. I will be adding more of my favorite summer images in the next few days to inspire you – it’s time to create some summer memories of your family, too!

Back from France and Italy!

After an amazing trip to Paris, Florence and Rome with my son, Jackson, and my parents, we are back for one of my favorite times of the year – autumn in Texas. The weather is perfect and the pie is always pumpkin, my favorite. Enjoy the football games, leaves falling and family portaits in beautiful settings for Lasting Images.

Art From Your Life!

We had a blast with the Rodriguez family this week as two of their young men leave for college! Having two seniors at one time has made life busy for everybody, but they took a moment to remember a milestone in the life of their family. These were just a few of the awesome images from their session!

Sisters in Springtime

We spent an afternoon on location in Magnolia Gardens near Charleston, South Carolina. This garden is gorgeous in the spring and I will post some of my landscape images next. I love the interaction between the girls and had a great time capturing all of the laughter and fun!

And We’re Back!!

After a wonderful 10 days at PPA’s Imaging USA in sunny Scottsdale, AZ (80 degrees yesterday, sigh!) filled with inspiring teachers and great images, we are back at the studio and ready to rock! Toni and Jeff have a beautiful family, don’t they? We really enjoyed working with them and I love this image that Toni chose!

Best Friends

My Dad and Ban Qamar have been best friends for most of their lives. They grew up together as children, roomed together as young working professionals, and vacationed together with their wives and families in later years. Last January, they celebrated their 90th birthdays together, within a day of each other, at a catered dinner surrounded by their families, here at the studio. We took lots of portraits and showed a slideshow of pictures they had collected over the years. This last week, my dad lost his friend to cancer. I am so glad that he has the portraits from last year and the past to remember the good times they shared. This is what Lasting Images is all about.

Gatlinburg Getaway!

These are just five of my favorites from the over 600 images that we captured of Alan and Shirlene’s Family! Here in Tennessee, we met with their family and had a wonderful early morning session at a lush, green mountain setting. We used two photographers to make sure that we gathered formal as well as candid shots of their family interacting together at their reunion! It was a really fun time for us and we appreciated the help of Bonnie and Katie in coordinating the location and clothing selections with everyone! That extra attention to detail makes all the difference in the outcome! I can’t wait to show them my favorite 270 portraits!!
